Annual Women in Property Luncheon
Our annual Women in Property luncheon took place at QT Melbourne last Friday, which saw over 60 industry colleagues come together to toast another successful year of hard work and outstanding efforts.
Boasting perfect Melbourne spring weather, the day was a huge success. Whilst it was all about celebrating and honouring the remarkable achievements of women in property, it was also an opportunity to bring our clients and colleagues together and say thank you for their ongoing support and collaboration.
Hosted in The Paramount Room, the rose-gold marble ceiling complemented by the array of brightly coloured cocktails quickly set the tone for the day.
In a panel conversation led by our Managing Director Ant Bray, we heard inspiring insight and nostalgic trips down memory lane from three of the industry’s leading business women, Principal of Mim Design Miriam Fanning, CEO of REA Group Tracey Fellows and Domain Group’s Managing Editor Alice Stolz.
The ladies discussed a range of topics including the importance of diversity in the workplace, how to maintain work and life balance, handling success and failures, as well as the challenges they faced on their business journey and how they overcame them.
When asked about the vision of the event, our Managing Director, Ant Bray said that taking the time to thank our industry colleagues and celebrate the year’s achievements was ‘essential’.
“We work in such a fast-paced, dynamic industry, and we rarely take the time to stop, look at what we have all accomplished and be proud,” Bray said.
“The event is an opportunity for us to come together and celebrate the unique experiences we all bring to the table, particularly ahead of the end-of-year rush.”
